SMS Terms.
The terms for Suntiq's separately consented operational and marketing SMS programs.
Programs
These Terms govern two separate optional SMS programs:
- Suntiq Operational Messaging: recurring vessel or Fleet alerts, account and security notices, service or outage notices, billing or support notices, and other operational messages matching the registered operational program.
- Suntiq Marketing Messaging: recurring newsletters, product and data-room updates, event or webinar invitations, offers, sales follow-up, and other promotional messages matching the registered marketing program.
Your consent applies only to the program identified in the disclosure you accepted. Opting in to one program does not enroll you in the other.
Consent and eligibility
Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using Suntiq. Marketing consent is separate from operational consent, account creation, general Terms acceptance, and data-room access. You must control or be authorized to use the mobile number you enroll.
A Customer administrator may nominate another person's mobile number. Nomination alone does not enroll that person or authorize recurring texts. The recipient must affirmatively consent through an approved method for the applicable program. Marketing SMS requires written consent. An administrator's general attestation is not sufficient evidence.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Operational frequency depends on configured alerts and account or service events. Marketing frequency depends on newsletters, events, product updates, offers, and sales campaigns. Message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan.
Opt out and help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help, or contact Suntiq using the address below. A STOP request may block all Suntiq SMS from the originating number at the carrier or provider level. Account preferences may provide narrower program choices where available, but they do not override a carrier or provider block.
Opting out of SMS does not cancel your Suntiq account or Customer agreement. Information may remain available through the app, dashboard, email, webhook, or another separately configured channel.
Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on carrier availability, network conditions, device state, service configuration, and provider availability. Messages may be delayed, duplicated, filtered, or fail.
Privacy
The Privacy Notice explains how mobile numbers, consent records, message content, delivery events, and opt-out requests are handled.
Suntiq does not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes or termination
Suntiq may change or discontinue a program. A material change requiring renewed consent will not apply to an existing enrollment until the required notice or consent is completed.
