We came from cockpits, where ambiguity is unacceptable.

Our earliest work was in aviation · real-time decision support for people flying under pressure. That work shaped how we think about safety-critical interfaces: clarity saves lives, alerts must be trustworthy, and the human is always in command.

Aviation also taught us what a good alert costs. Every unnecessary warning spends trust you can't buy back · so you engineer for the one that matters, and you make it impossible to miss. We carried that discipline into everything we've built since.

We understand the problem.

Years around helms, docks, and service bays taught us the gap firsthand. The boat could tell you what was happening · it rarely told you what mattered, what changed, or what to do next. It was the same gap we'd spent careers closing in the sky.

Research and development. Then we chose marine.

We spent a year serving clients across connected, mission-critical operations and running R&D on what an operational intelligence layer should be. The pattern held everywhere: modern equipment produces data; operators still fly blind.

We chose the water first because it's where the stakes, the pull, and our own lives converged · and because it's the hardest proving ground we know. Salt, motion, distance from help, and no tolerance for a system that cries wolf. Earn trust here and you've earned it anywhere.
